When boiler drums are thicker than standard roll size in the flaring type tube expander is expanded in several progressive operations, depending upon the thickness of tube sheet

SAREL Tube Expander is primarily designed to accomplish the inner or 1st operation. This expander is non flaring adjustable collar type which controls the length of expansion by means of threads provided on the body (S8012 type Tube Expander) for the final operation Sarel SB700 Expander is used which serves the purpose of expanding and flaring in one operation.

Combination of this two type expander should fulfill the exact requirement of thicker tube sheet tube expansion by 1/4" or 5-6 mm overlap of rolls between progressive operation.
